James has worked across film, television and theatre over the past decade.
Television work includes, Lambs of God, The Secret River, Home and Away and Top of the Lake: China Girl. Feature films include Hacksaw Ridge and The Nightingale. James’ work on the Melbourne stage has seen him nominated for several Green Room Awards. He is an original cast member of the Australian production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
James was introduced to Catherine Hill by Peta Brady who’d worked with him previously. James brought a raw energy and a necessary vulnerability to the role of Ben.
Produced and filmed on the traditional country of the Yaluk-ut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung and the Dja Dja Wurrong people.
